MY wife found some long black hair on the towels in the bathroom, and all they supplied were a pair of bath towels.
The carpet had stains and was pretty worn. Inside the room, I immediately noticed that the walls were scuffed all over and that you could see where light fixtures had been changed. The cart full of junk outside the door of the room next to us didn't help. Between the back alley feel and the phallus shaped artwork on the windows were pretty demoralizing. The stairwell up to the third floor was the beginning of my feelings that this may have been a mistake.
When we arrived late in the evening, the guy behind the desk was apathetic, and actually rather rude. The photos looked decent and reviews said it was clean and the price was great. I had to book this room last minute to deal with a family emergency in the city.
